The PeopleCheck background checking package that has been customised for Sharebuyit members includes: Releasing your name, email address and contact telephone number/s in order for them to make contact and commence the background checking process. At this point, you will receive an email from PeopleCheck containing a secure link to their online system which you will need to access in order to complete and electronically sign the online forms. PeopleCheck may also call you to introduce themselves once your background checking has been initiated.

We recommend background checking packages are based on human resource and risk management principles, as well as budget and compliance requirements.
What information is required?
PeopleCheck’s online system will provide you with full instructions at the point when we initiate your background checking; however, there are some pieces of documentation/information you may find useful to have on hand in advance to speed up the process:
- Your driver’s licence or passport: As part of your background checking, PeopleCheck may be required to validate your identity which means their online system will prompt you to provide your driver’s licence and passport numbers. In some cases, you may also be required to provide copies of 100 points of identification to PeopleCheck.
- Your address history: You may be asked to provide address history with relevant dates, even if you have resided outside of Australia during this time.
To ensure a seamless transition in your on-boarding from this point forward, we ask that you please complete the online forms with the information requested as a matter of priority once you receive instructions from PeopleCheck.
